When is a Softener not a Softener
Yet another device we removed that does not work. The plumber had put this on saying it would solve the customers hard water problems. Anyway 2 years later the boiler heat exchange was being changed again as it was blocked up with limescale.
We fitted one of our Hague 410 water softeners and the house has been scale free for several years now. Plus the customers are saving money on their cleaning materials, soap and shampoo and washing powder.

We love visiting people and solving their water problems. One thing we have learnt is everybody has ‘one of those cupboards’, you know the one it often has the popcorn maker, ice-cream machine, sandwich maker and all the other stuff that seemed like such a good idea. This one of my favourite when i asked the customer why they had so many the simple answer was they hated coffee shops?
The great thing now is they are filling their flasks with tea and coffee made from soft water so no more nasty stains in the cups.
